  • A renewal, reinstatement, or reissuance of a license if the license of a producer has been revoked or suspended.

  • An initial license in Iowa for public adjusters, independent adjusters, and staff adjusters if a state and national criminal history check has not already been completed by another state's insurance department.

IID and the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) have selected Fieldprint to conduct the fingerprinting and federal criminal history checks as authorized in 522B.5A.  DCI will conduct a separate state criminal history check utilizing the fingerprints provided by Fieldprint in addition to the information provided to them by the applicant.  The cost associated with the fingerprinting and criminal history records will be borne by the applicant.  Fingerprinting will take place at a Fieldprint location.
