Des Moines – Cole Bryant Anderson, age 21, of Rutland was recently charged with one count of Fraudulent Submissions (Class D Felony), and one count of Forgery (Class D Felony) following an investigation by the Iowa Insurance Divisions Fraud Bureau.

The charges against Anderson stem from an investigation that began in August of 2022.  According to a criminal complaint filed by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau, Anderson fabricated and forged a document that he submitted in support of an insurance claim knowing that he had misrepresented material facts.

Anderson was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Jail on October 6, 2022.  Anderson was later released after posting a $10,000 bond.  Trial will be set for a future date.
