Des Moines - Nnamdi Carlon Igbokwe, age 30, of Urbandale was recently charged with one count of Fraudulent Submissions (Class D Felony) following an investigation by the Iowa Insurance Divisions Fraud Bureau.
The charge against Igbokwe stems from an investigation that began in July of 2022. According to a criminal complaint filed by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau, Igbokwe provided false information to an insurer for an accident claim following an automobile accident in Polk County in an attempt to obtain insurance benefits.
Igbokwe was arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail on October 9, 2022. Igbokwe was later released after posting a $5,000 bond. Trial will be set for a future date.
