Des Moines - Zachary James Flaherty, age 46, of Clive was indicted by a federal grand jury on April 19, 2023, for seventeen counts of mail and wire fraud, one count of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, and two counts of money laundering over $10,000.
The charges against Flaherty stem from an investigation by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau. More information about the indictment can be found in a press release issued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of Iowa.
