A public hearing regarding a Plan of Reorganization for Homesteaders Life Company will be held by the Iowa Insurance Division on April 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The public hearing will be held at the Iowa Insurance Divisionβs office at 1963 Bell Avenue, Suite 100, Des Moines, Iowa 50315.
The hearing will be a public opportunity for the Applicant and any other interested party to present evidence and argument relevant to the Plan of Reorganization. The hearing will be held to determine whether the Applicant's Plan of Reorganization complies with the standards set forth in Iowa Code section 521A.14. Applicable rules of evidence are found at Iowa Code sections 17A.12β17.
