Des Moines - Jordyn Culp, age 28, of Dallas Center was sentenced on February 14, 2023, to 18 months in prison after entering a guilty plea for Wire Fraud.
The charges against Culp stem from an investigation by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau that began in September of 2021. More information about the fraudulent scheme involving insurance proceeds can be found in a press release issued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of Iowa.
Upon her release from prison, Culp will be ordered to serve three years of supervised release. Culp was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $273,698.
