Des Moines - Brian McClintock, age 53, of Marion pled guilty on April 18, 2023, to one count of Fraudulent Submissions to an Insurer (Class D Felony) following an investigation by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau.

The investigation began in May of 2022 after the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau received information that McClintock had provided false information, including a forged document, to an insurer during a loss claim with the intent to receive monetary benefits to which he would have not otherwise been entitled. 

Following his guilty plea, McClintock received a deferred judgment, was placed on probation for a period of two years, and was ordered to pay a civil penalty in the amount of $1,025. McClintock was also ordered to pay victim pecuniary damages set in the amount of $3,677.17.
